During my recent sojourn at Am Deich 51, nestled conveniently just shy of Lübeck, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of a bottle of organic wine-an ideal start for my three-day retreat with my wife and daughter. The apartment was not only allergy-friendly but boasted a spacious terrace that we eagerly filled with laughter and leisurely meals, thanks to the well-equipped barbecue and kitchen utensils. One of the standout features was the private bathroom's hairdryer-a small touch, yet so appreciated during family trips! The flat-screen TV and CD player provided a charming way to unwind post-exploration. For those travelling via train, the pick-up service from Eutin station is a thoughtful addition, easing the transition into relaxation mode. All in all, Am Deich 51 exceeded my expectations, offering a good blend of comfort and convenience in a historical setting-what more could a history-loving architect and his family ask for?
